Manage these settings from: ☰ Menu ▸ Settings
The Settings screen allows you to view and customize various Avast Cleanup Premium settings.
Use the tabs on the left-side of the window to manage different aspects of program behavior. After making any changes, click the X icon to return to the main Avast Cleanup Premium screen.
To change the language of the Avast Cleanup Premium interface, use the drop-down menu and select your preferred language from the list.
The Notifications settings screen allows you to select which issues Avast Cleanup Premium notifies you about. To deselect an issue, click the box next to the relevant issue so that the tick mark is removed.
Notifications appear in the notification center. You can access the notification center by clicking Notifications (the bell icon) in the top-right corner of the main screen.
The Rescue Center settings screen allows you to select which items Avast Cleanup Premium backs up and for how long. These items determine which actions you are able to undo in the Rescue Center after cleaning.
To deselect a category, click the box next to the category so the tick mark is removed. Click the drop-down menu next to Delete backups after, then select a time to specify how long Avast Cleanup Premium should keep backups of the listed categories.
The Enable Debug Logging option allows Avast Cleanup Premium to create a log file of any crashes or issues with the program. This is useful if you need to contact Avast Support agents about an issue with Avast Cleanup Premium. Log file(s) are stored in the following location on your local disk:
The Enable Debug Logging option is unticked by default.
