Passwords Settings
Access this feature from the Avast User Interface at: Menu ▸ Settings (gear icon) ▸ Passwords
The Password Settings allow you to do the following:
- Change the main password, the frequency Avast asks for your password, and whether to lock your passwords when you close your browser.
- Synchronize your settings with your Avast account.
- Choose which browsers you want to use Avast Password Manager with on your system.
Security
Set or reset your Main password, and set how often your Main Password is requested.
Tick the box if access to the passwords list should be locked after closing your browser. This means the Main Password will be requested before the data can be viewed or edited.
Synchronization
You can enable synchronization via your Avast Account.
Click Sync now to synchronize passwords across all devices connected to your Avast Account.
Browser Integration
If you have not yet installed Passwords browser extension for any of your browsers, you may do so by clicking Install next to a browser icon.
