Your router is accessible from the Internet!

Configuration of your wireless router is accessible from the Internet, and can be hacked. Your personal data may be at risk.

To configure ASUS wireless router:

  1. From the Wi-Fi Inspector results screen, select Go to your router settings to open the administration page of your ASUS router.
  2. Enter your router username and password, or contact the party who provided the router (e.g., your ISP).
  3. Go to Advanced Setting ▸ Administration ▸ System.
    - or -
    Go to Internet Firewall ▸ Basic Config.
    - or -
    Go to Management ▸ Access control ▸ Services.
  4. For Enable Web Access from WAN select the option No.
    - or -
    For each service in the WAN section uncheck the Enable option.
  5. Confirm your changes by selecting Apply, or Save and reboot your router if necessary.
