Your router is infected!

Your router has been compromised and your network connections are being routed through a malicious remote server.

Important:

To configure Sagem/Sagemcom wireless router:

  1. From the Wi-Fi Security results screen, select Go to your router settings to open the administration page of your Sagem/Sagemcom router.
  2. Enter your router username and password, or contact the party who provided the router (e.g., your ISP).
  3. Go to Advanced SetupDNSDynamic DNS ▸ ensure that there is no dynamic DNS entry, otherwise select the Remove button for each one.
    - or -
Go to AdvancedAdvanced NetworkDDNSDynamic DNS Setup ▸ ensure that the Enable Dynamic DNS option is unchecked.
  4. Go to Advanced SetupWAN ▸ select Edit next to your connection profile in the list (if you see more than one connection profile in the list, check each of them, one by one).
    - or -
Go to SetupInternet Setup ▸ in the Connection list select the corresponding editing icon next to your connection profile (if you see more than one connection profile in the list, check each of them, one by one).
  5. If your ISP supports automatic configuration
    • Change WAN IP Settings to Obtain DNS servers automatically, or set Domain Name Server Assignment to Auto in the DNS section.
    • Ensure that all DNS server records are set to None (this applies also for static DNS records, if available in your router's LAN, DHCP or DNS Server settings when a local DHCP Server is Enabled).
    - otherwise -
If your ISP doesn't support automatic configuration (e.g. the option Use the following DNS server addresses is enabled in WAN IP Settings, or Domain Name Server Assignment is set to Manual in the DNS section), fill in DNS server fields with IP addresses of reliable DNS servers, such as Google Public DNS, as shown below:
    Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
    Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
  6. Confirm your changes by selecting Apply, or Save/Apply and reboot your router if necessary.

Note:

Due to the wide range of different router types by Sagem/Sagemcom, we offer general instructions for frequently used models. For exact instructions please consult documentation for your router model or contact Sagem/Sagemcom for further assistance.
