The Passwords feature stores your passwords according to the account website and your user name, and provides a status regarding the strength of each password. You can manually add a password by clicking Add website, and providing the following information:
- Name: the name of the account.
- Web: the website address of the account.
- User name: the user name (often an email address) you use to sign into the account.
- Password: the password you currently use to sign into the account.
You can open an account directly from Passwords by clicking the link icon beside the account details.
Passwords provides a status for each of your passwords. Possible statuses are strong, average or weak in terms of how difficult a password is to decipher. Alternatively, reused indicates that a password is used to access more than one of your online accounts, and compromised indicates that a password is connected to a website or account that has been hacked.
