Avast Mobile Subscriptions

Avast Mobile Security for Android offers several subscription packages with different sets of product features. For more information, refer to the sections below.

Pro Plus

Includes Avast Mobile Security Premium and Avast Cleanup Premium as a bundle for up to 5 Android devices.

Avast Mobile Security Premium is automatically activated on your primary Android device during your Pro Plus subscription purchase. To activate the subscription on your Android devices:

Find your activation code

  1. On your primary Android device, ensure you are logged in to the Google Play Store app using your Google account linked to the Pro Plus subscription purchase.
  2. Open Avast Mobile Security, then go to ☰ Menu ▸ My Subscriptions.
  3. Your Activation code appears under your Pro Plus subscription details on the top of the screen.

Activate Avast Mobile Security Premium for Android

  1. On another Android device, download and install the latest version of Avast Mobile Security from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open Avast Mobile Security and tap Upgrade during the tutorial. If you skipped the tutorial, go to ☰ Menu ▸ Remove ads.
  3. Tap ⋮ Menu (three dots) in the top-right corner and select Enter activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and tap Confirm. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Note: If you previously activated Avast Mobile Security Premium using a voucher or activation code linked to a different valid subscription, first go to ☰ Menu ▸ My Subscriptions, save your previous Activation code so you can transfer it to another device, and tap Unlink. Then follow the activation steps above.

Activate Avast Cleanup Premium for Android

  1. On any Android device, download and install the latest version of Avast Cleanup from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open Avast Cleanup and tap Upgrade during the tutorial. If you skipped the tutorial, go to ☰ Menu ▸ Remove ads.
  3. Tap ⋮ Menu (three dots) in the top-right corner and select Enter activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and tap Confirm. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Note: If you previously activated Avast Cleanup Premium using a voucher or activation code linked to a different valid subscription, first go to ☰ Menu ▸ Settings ▸ Subscription, save your previous Activation code so you can transfer it to another device, and tap Unlink. Then follow the activation steps above.

Mobile Ultimate

Includes Avast Mobile Security Premium, Avast Cleanup Premium and Avast SecureLine VPN as a bundle for up to 5 Android devices.

Avast Mobile Security Premium is automatically activated on your primary Android device during your Mobile Ultimate subscription purchase. To activate the subscription on your mobile devices:

Find your activation code

  1. On your primary Android device, ensure you are logged in to the Google Play Store app using your Google account linked to the Mobile Ultimate subscription purchase.
  2. Open Avast Mobile Security, then go to ☰ Menu ▸ My Subscriptions.
  3. Your Activation code appears under your Mobile Ultimate subscription details on the top of the screen.

Activate Avast Mobile Security Premium for Android

  1. On another Android device, download and install the latest version of Avast Mobile Security from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open Avast Mobile Security and tap Upgrade during the tutorial. If you skipped the tutorial, go to ☰ Menu ▸ Remove ads.
  3. Tap ⋮ Menu (three dots) in the top-right corner and select Enter activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and tap Confirm. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

  3. Tap ⋮ Menu (three dots) in the top-right corner and select Enter activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and tap Confirm. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Note: If you previously activated Avast Cleanup Premium using a voucher or activation code linked to a different valid subscription, first go to ☰ Menu ▸ Settings ▸ Subscription, save your previous Activation code so you can transfer it to another device, and tap Unlink. Activate Avast SecureLine VPN for Android

  1. On any Android device, download and install the latest version of Avast SecureLine VPN from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open Avast SecureLine VPN and tap Already purchased? during the tutorial. If you skipped the tutorial, go to Settings (the gear icon) ▸ Subscription ▸ Already purchased.
  3. Select Enter activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and tap Continue. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Note: If you previously activated Avast SecureLine VPN using a voucher or activation code linked to a different valid subscription, first go to Settings (the gear icon) ▸ Subscription, save your previous Activation code so you can transfer it to another device, and tap Unlink. Then follow the activation steps above.

Ultimate (Multi-Device)

Includes the following products as a bundle for up to 10 devices:

Avast Mobile Security Premium is automatically activated on your primary Android device during your Ultimate (Multi-Device) subscription purchase. To activate the subscription on your devices:

  2. Open Avast SecureLine VPN and tap Already purchased? during the tutorial. If you skipped the tutorial, go to Settings (the gear icon) ▸ Subscription ▸ Already purchased.
  3. Select Enter activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and tap Continue. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Note: If you previously activated Avast SecureLine VPN using a voucher or activation code linked to a different valid subscription, first go to Settings (the gear icon) ▸ Subscription, save your previous Activation code so you can transfer it to another device, and tap Unlink. Activate Avast Mobile Security Premium for iOS

  1. On any iOS device, download and install the latest version of Avast Mobile Security from the App Store.
  2. Open Security, tap Upgrade in the top-right corner and select Already purchased?.
  3. Select Enter Avast subscription code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and tap OK. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Activate Avast SecureLine VPN for iOS

  1. On any iOS device, download and install the latest version of Avast SecureLine VPN from the App Store.
  2. Open Avast SecureLine VPN and tap Already purchased? during the tutorial. If you skipped the tutorial, go to Settings (the gear icon) ▸ Subscription ▸ Already purchased?.
  3. Select Enter Avast subscription code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and tap OK. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Note: If you previously activated Avast SecureLine VPN using a voucher or activation code linked to a different valid subscription, first go to Settings (the gear icon) ▸ Subscription, save your previous Activation code so you can transfer it to another device, and tap Unlink. Then follow the activation steps above.

Activate Avast Premium Security for Windows

  1. On your Windows PC, download and install the latest version of Avast Premium Security from the Avast website.
  2. Open Avast Premium Security, then go to ☰ Menu ▸ My Subscriptions.
  3. Select Enter a valid activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and click Enter. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Activate Avast Cleanup Premium for Windows

  1. On your Windows PC, download and install the latest version of Avast Cleanup Premium from the Avast website.
  2. Open Avast Cleanup Premium, then go to ☰ Menu ▸ My Subscriptions.
  3. Select Enter a valid activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and click Enter. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Activate Avast SecureLine VPN for Windows

  1. On your Windows PC, download and install the latest version of Avast SecureLine VPN from the Avast website.
  2. Open Avast SecureLine VPN, then go to ☰ Menu ▸ My Subscriptions.
  3. Select Enter a valid activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and click Enter. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Activate Avast Premium Security for Mac

  1. On your Mac, download and install the latest version of Avast Security from the Avast website.
  2. Open Avast, then go to ☰ Menu ▸ My Subscriptions.
  3. Click Insert activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and click Activate. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Activate Avast Cleanup Premium for Mac

  1. On your Mac, download and install the latest version of Avast Cleanup from the Avast website.
  2. Open Avast Cleanup, then via the Menu Bar go to Avast Cleanup ▸ Preferences... ▸ Subscription.
  3. Click Insert activation code.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and click Activate. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Activate Avast SecureLine VPN for Mac

  1. On your Mac, download and install the latest version of Avast SecureLine VPN from the Avast website.
  2. Open Avast SecureLine VPN, then via the Menu Bar go to Avast SecureLine VPN ▸ Preferences... ▸ Subscription.
  3. Click Activate.
  4. Enter your activation code into the text box and click Activate Avast VPN. Refer to the instructions above, to find your activation code.

Upgrade

When you upgrade from one paid version of Avast Mobile Security to another (for example, from Pro Plus to Mobile Ultimate), Google Play Store automatically calculates how much of your original subscription was unused.

To compensate you for the value of this unused subscription, you receive free access to the new paid product for a limited time period. This means that you are not immediately charged when you activate your new paid subscription. The length of your free access period depends on how much of your original subscription was unused. When the free access period ends, your new paid subscription automatically begins and you are charged for your chosen subscription plan (1 year or 1 month). The date of your first payment is displayed during the subscription upgrade.

Troubleshooting

If the Subscription screen in any Avast app shows the message This subscription was activated by an activation code or is managed from a different application, it means the subscription is not managed through the primary Google account you are logged into in the Google Play Store app on your Android device. Possible reasons for the issue:

  • The Avast app was not purchased with the Google account currently logged into in the Google Play Store app.
  • The subscription is part of a subscription package that includes the same Avast app.
  • The lsubscription was activated with a voucher code received as a gift.
